About

Seaya is a venture capital and growth firm founded in Madrid in 2013 by Beatriz González, who came from private equity. Its historic strategy, Seaya Ventures, leads Series A and B rounds across Europe with initial checks of €2M to €7M (third fund closed at €165M in late 2021). In 2024, it closed Seaya Andromeda at €300M, a climate and tech growth fund backed by Iberdrola, Santander and Bpifrance, which takes minority or majority stakes of €10M to €40M in profitable or break-even companies. A Series C-and-beyond fund, anchored by €300M from the EIF, has been targeting €1B since 2026. The portfolio includes three unicorns: Glovo, acquired by Delivery Hero, Cabify and Wallbox. In France, Seaya followed on in Alma (split payments) from its 2021 Series B through its 2022 Series C, entered Descartes Underwriting (parametric insurance) in its 2022 Series B, has backed Resilience (oncology) since 2022, and led Dotfile's Series A (compliance) in 2024. In 2026, Andromeda invested in Wiremind (transportation pricing), alongside IronWave and Bpifrance.
