About

Decathlon Pulse is Decathlon's investment arm, created in 2024 and led by Franck Vigo. It brings together three business lines: a studio that builds new ventures, minority stakes in companies that are transforming sport and its business models, and the acquisition of brands and retailers. It takes over from the group's direct investments: nearly €400M deployed since 2018, including the acquisitions of Alltricks and Bergfreunde. Neither the fund size nor check size has been disclosed, and Pulse also invests in funds: in 2026 it led the first closing of OSS Ventures' €40M fund. Its most visible holding is Brompton, the London-based folding bike maker, in which it took a minority stake in June 2026. Next come unspun, which weaves 3D-made garments in California, and VoltR, which refurbishes lithium batteries and raised a Series A in 2026 with Bpifrance's SPI fund. Before Pulse, Decathlon had funded Anybuddy, Cyclofix and Recyc'Elit. For a startup in sport, cycling or textiles, it is a shareholder that can buy its products and distribute them across 1,750 stores.
