Rachetée par le groupe Société Générale le 30 juin 2020, dans le cadre d'un plan de rachat progressif jusqu'à 100 % du capital, pour un montant non divulgué ; la société a alors rejoint Treezor au sein du groupe. Société Générale a cédé Shine à l'éditeur danois de logiciels comptables Ageras le 11 décembre 2024, dans le cadre d'un recentrage sur sa banque de détail en France, également pour un montant non divulgué.
