Fondée en 1999 à Roubaix par Octave Klaba, la société a financé sa croissance sans ouvrir son capital jusqu'à l'entrée minoritaire de KKR et TowerBrook en 2016, puis s'est introduite sur Euronext Paris le 15 octobre 2021. En décembre 2024, une offre publique de rachat d'actions à 9 € a permis la sortie de ces deux fonds et porté la participation de la famille Klaba de 68,5 % à environ 81 %.
