About

Rhône Vallée Angels is the association of business angels from Drôme and Ardèche, created in July 2008 in Valence with the Drôme Chamber of Commerce and the departmental councils of the two departments, and a member of France Angels. Chaired by Simon Francon, it brings together around sixty investors (business leaders, entrepreneurs, executives, and retirees) who fund early-stage young companies in the region, in various sectors: brewing, textiles, technology, agriculture, security, cosmetics, or medical technologies. It co-invests with other clubs in the region, such as Grenoble Angels and SAMBA, as well as with regional banks. Its portfolio includes more than 18 companies, including Euveka, Imactis, Drone Interactive, and Primo1D. In May 2023, it participated, along with Grenoble Angels, SAMBA, and family offices, in the €5.3 million fundraising of MAG4HEALTH, a Grenoble-based brain imaging specialist. It also participated in the €3 million funding of Moïz, alongside Grenoble Angels, SAMBA, Crédit Agricole Alpes Développement, and Rio Tinto.
