About

Rhône Dauphiné Développement is a regional venture capital firm established in 1988 in Grenoble at the initiative of professional metallurgy organizations in Isère and Rhône, with a capital of nearly €18 million and backed by shareholders like Caisse d’Épargne Rhône Alpes, APICIL, and Crédit Coopératif. It takes minority stakes ranging from €100,000 to €500,000 in industrial SMEs and service companies to the industry in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, in creation, development, and especially in transmission, and co-invests in rounds led by others. For example, it supported Bois du Dauphiné from 1992 until its sale in 2022. On the innovation side, it entered the capital of MagREEsource during its €23 million round in 2025, of Halias Technologies in 2024 with CoopVenture, and of TOLV in 2023, during a €6.5 million round led by Amundi Finance et Solidarité and Shift4Good. For an industrial SME in the region, it is a minority shareholder from the local industry.
