Resonance is a "new generation" Venture Capital firm based in Paris, launched in 2022/2023. It functions as the dedicated early-stage tech vehicle of Otium Capital (the family office of Pierre-Edouard Stérin, founder of Smartbox). While fully funded by Otium, Resonance operates as an independent management team led by Maxime Le Dantec (ex-Balderton) and Antoine Veret (ex- Breega). Their defining characteristic is their "Evergreen" structure: unlike traditional funds that have to return money to LPs within 10 years, Resonance has no time constraint on its holdings. This allows them to align perfectly with founders' timelines, whether for a quick exit or a long-term IPO journey. They promote a "Founders First" culture with extreme reactivity (term sheets often issued in under 2 weeks).
