About

Pyrénées Gascogne Développement is the private equity firm of the regional bank Crédit Agricole Pyrénées Gascogne, established in 2007 and based in Serres-Castet, near Pau. It takes minority stakes in companies in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Hautes-Pyrénées, and Gers regions, with half in traditional SMEs in development or transition, and half in innovative startups, with patient capital, an exit agreed with the leaders upon entry, and decisions made by a committee of local elected officials. In 2018, it had around thirty investments with over €7M invested, and co-invested with GSO Capital, Crédit Mutuel Equity, or Pléiade. On the innovation front, it participated in 2025 in the €4M round of Febus Optics, led by Thales Corporate Ventures, and supports PureNat, Fleeti, LTU Tech, and La Boîte Concept; it also entered the capital of TSE during its €130M round led by Eurazeo in 2023, and of Teklynx as early as 2010. For a company in Béarn, the Basque Country, or Gers, it is the regional bank's equity tool.
