About

Occitanie Angels is the business angel network of the region, born from the merger of Capitole Angels in Toulouse and MELIES Business Angels in Montpellier, two networks created in 2006; the merger has been effective since September 2025. Co-chaired by Pierre Carli and Philippe Nahoum, based at the Cité des startups in Toulouse and the Halle de l’Innovation in Montpellier, it brings together around 200 members, receives over 300 applications per year, and supports companies from seed to exit, with a focus on aeronautics and space: its founders also created Aerospace Angels, a national club in the sector. Since 2006, the two networks have invested around €20M in over 110 startups; €1.2M in 2025, with a target of €2M in 2026. The portfolio includes Agnostic Production Systems, joined during its €741,000 round in 2025, Green4Cloud in 2026, Kepplair Evolution with Aerospace Angels, Immoblade, AITHRA, Wemet, and Intence. For a founder in Occitanie at the seed stage, it is the region's angel network.
