About
GSR is a crypto trading company founded in 2013 by former Goldman Sachs traders, based in London and led by Xin Song. Its core business is market making: it provides liquidity to token issuers and exchange platforms, and also offers over-the-counter trading, treasury management, and advisory on token design and launch. Investment is a full-fledged branch: GSR positions itself as a multi-stage investor in over 300 crypto companies and protocols, including EtherFi, Sei, Maple Finance, M0, and The Open Network. In May 2026, SC Ventures, the venture capital arm of Standard Chartered, took a stake in the company at a valuation of over one billion dollars. In France, GSR participated in the rounds of Kiln (Series A in 2022), Kryptview (2023), and Usual (seed and Series A in 2024). For a web3 founder preparing a token issuance, it is a shareholder capable of also ensuring its liquidity.
