About

Finistère Angels is a business angel association based in Brest, a member of France Angels, created in 2007 and active since 2008, bringing together around sixty members and having counted 120 since its inception. Its members invest from €5,000 to €20,000 each, for contributions of €80,000 to €500,000 per project, at the seed stage, with no sector preference, and remain minority shareholders for four to six years. The network claims over €14M invested in more than 40 projects, out of over 280 applications reviewed, and co-invests with Armor Angels, Mer Angels, Breizh Up, Ifremer Investissement, and Bpifrance. The portfolio includes 52 Hertz, joined during its €800,000 seed round in 2024 with Breizh Up and Ifremer Investissement, AberActives, during its €1M round in 2025 with Armor Angels, Ecotree, of which the network is a historical shareholder, and Olenbee, through a joint vehicle with Business Angels 35 and Bretagne Sud Angels. For a founder from Finistère at the seed stage, it is the local angel network.
