About
Crédit Mutuel Innovation is the venture capital team of Crédit Mutuel Equity, the private equity subsidiary of Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale. Active since 2003, initially under the name CM-CIC Innovation, it invests the group's own funds without exit constraints: its allocation was doubled to €500M in May 2023, with a pace of about €50M invested per year. It mainly leads or co-leads Series A rounds, less frequently seeds or Series B, with check sizes from €1M to €20M and an average entry ticket of €4M to €5M, in health, deeptech, and digital sectors. Offices in Paris, Lyon, Nantes, and Marseille. The portfolio includes Tissium, whose Series A it co-led in 2013 and followed until 2023, Implicity and Therapixel, Series B co-led in 2022, Planity, Quandela, HarfangLab, Ganymed Robotics, AB Tasty, and Zeliq, whose Series A it co-led in 2026 with The Moon Venture. For a founder seeking a lead for a Series A with patient capital, it's a solid option.
