About
CentraleSupélec Venture is the seed fund of the engineering school CentraleSupélec and its alumni, launched in May 2023 and managed by the management company TyGrow. It only invests in startups with a co-founder from the school or that have used its research facilities, at pre-seed and seed stages, with initial check sizes ranging from €150,000 to €500,000, in deeptech, health, and industrial and environmental transitions. It aimed for €25 million, with a first closing of €12 million, was preparing to close its subscriptions in early 2025, and targets about twenty companies. In 2024, it led the €1.5 million pre-seed round of En Carta Diagnostics, which it followed in its €5 million round led by Blue Forest Ventures, and includes Ed.ai, Exwayz, Goodweek, Highcast, NPCo, and SpaceLocker. For a founder from CentraleSupélec, it is a first investor backed by the school's network.
