About

CACF Capital Innovation is the private equity arm of Crédit Agricole Centre France, the regional bank covering Allier, Cantal, Corrèze, Creuse, and Puy-de-Dôme. It is an SAS created in February 2018 at the bank's headquarters in Clermont-Ferrand, without its own website, and does not publish its fund size or check range. It takes minority stakes in seed and Series A rounds, co-investing with local players: UI Investissement (formerly Sofimac, manager of JEREMIE funds), Angelor, Crédit Agricole Création (Centre-Est). It also supports SME LBOs, such as Fugam (Pecheur.com) in 2021. Investments: Brenus Pharma (therapeutic cancer vaccines), SurgAR (augmented reality in surgery), Invers (insect proteins), Sabi Agri (electric tractors), Bobine (chemical recycling of plastics), BioUpp (biomethane), Ultrawatt (solar facades). For a founder from Auvergne or Limousin, it is a local co-investor backed by the regional bank, supporting a round led by a local fund rather than leading it.
