About

C2AD (Crédit Agricole Alpes Développement) is the private equity arm of Crédit Agricole des Savoie and Crédit Agricole Sud Rhône Alpes, founded in 2009 and based in Grenoble and Annecy. With over €130M in assets under management, C2AD manages three regional funds: CADS Capital, CADS Développement, and CASRA Capital, with a co-investment mechanism between the two regional banks. The scope is strictly defined: the Alpine Arc, covering five departments (Ardèche, Drôme, Isère, Savoie, Haute-Savoie). C2AD operates across the entire capital chain: creation-innovation, development, transmission, and shareholder restructuring, without a fixed sectoral thesis. The team, originating from the two regional banks, is intimately familiar with the local economic fabric. For an Alpine startup or SME seeking an investor rooted in its territory, C2AD is often the natural first-round partner, with the legitimacy and network of a regional banking player.
