About

Arts et Métiers Business Angels is the business angel network of engineers from the Arts et Métiers school, created in 2008 by 29 founding members and also open to their relatives. Organized as an association, it has more than 130 active members spread across six regional delegations, from Île-de-France to Grand Est, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, South-East, South-West, and West. Members invest individually, starting from €5,000 per project, in rounds ranging from €200,000 to €2M, in seed and development stages, in startups already having initial commercial traction, with a preference for projects with environmental and societal impact. By the end of 2024, the network claimed over 150 companies funded in 240 operations, with more than €16M invested. Its strength lies in the industrial and technical expertise of its members, engineers, and executives. The portfolio includes Skydrone Robotics, MagicPallet, Opencell, Mecaware, Hymag’In, Deepbloo, BlueSecure, and Qolumbus. For an industrial or deeptech founder at the very beginning, it is a network of angels with rare technical competence.
