Angels Santé is the French network of business angels dedicated to health, created in 2008 as an association and based in Paris, with a branch in Boston. It brings together around 150 individual investors, often from the pharmaceutical industry, medical devices, or medicine, who provide startups with scientific, regulatory, and clinical expertise in addition to their capital. The network participates in seed rounds, generally from €200,000 to €2 million, in biotech, medical devices, digital health, and animal health, in syndication with other networks and investors like Bpifrance or EIT Health. More than 50 startups have been funded since its inception, and the network also offers training for business angels in health investment. The portfolio includes Cardiawave, followed from seed in 2016 to Series A in 2018, Kimialys, Healshape, WeFight, SeaBeLife, Oncodiag, or Apmonia Therapeutics. For a health founder at the very beginning, it is one of the most specialized angel networks in France.
