Investor profile | Builders Republic

About

212 Founders is the support and investment program of CDG Invest, the investment branch of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion, the Moroccan public financial institution. Launched in 2019, it presents itself as the first Moroccan institutional program for startups in late seed and Series A stages, with two locations, in Casablanca and Paris, at Station F. It follows two paths: Expand212, for Moroccan startups, with check sizes of around 13 million dirhams, and HQ212, for foreign startups wanting to establish themselves in Morocco and Africa, with check sizes of around $1M. It claims more than 24 funded companies, over 135 supported, and two exits. On the French side, it entered in 2025 into the seed round of €3.5M for Alltheway, with Innovacom and Groupe ADP; the portfolio also includes Crealo, joined in 2024 alongside Kima Ventures and Evolem, Nucleon Security, Palm, CleanMob, Inyad, and Freterium. For a French startup aiming at Morocco and Africa, it is a public shareholder and a gateway to Casablanca.
