Singular is one of the most ambitious and "modern" Venture Capital firms in Europe, founded in 2020 by Jérémy Uzan and Raffi Kamber (former General Partners at Alven). They launched with a splash by raising a massive first fund (€225M), followed quickly by a €400M second fund, an unprecedented trajectory for a new firm. Their philosophy is built on "High Conviction": they make fewer investments than average but back them with very large tickets and aggressive follow-on capital. They position themselves as a flexible platform, capable of investing from Seed to Series B without being locked into rigid "stage" silos.
