firedrop is the "Angel Fund" founded by Pietro Invernizzi (formerly an investor at Stride.VC and a Director at The Family). It operates with a unique "Community-Driven" structure: it is not backed by traditional LPs but by a collective of over 150 Super Angels, Founders, and Operators (from companies like Stripe, incident.io, Kayak, etc.). The goal is to combine the speed and empathy of a Business Angel with the check size of a micro-fund. Pietro positions firedrop as the "first check" that brings an army of operators to help the founder.
