Large Venture is the "Growth Equity" arm of Bpifrance (the French Public Investment Bank). It operates with a "Sovereign Market Maker" philosophy: it acts like a private VC (seeking profitability and performance) but with "Patient Capital" (long-term horizon). It is designed to anchor future industrial and tech champions in France, preventing them from being bought out too early by foreign competitors.
